This year we have donated about £2,500 to different charities - Thank You everyone! During the summer term we supported Leket, an Israeli charity. On Shavuot we learnt how Boaz, as we are taught in the Torah, left a small section of his field for those less fortunate to glean. This idea was the inspiration for Leket, which visits hotels and restaurants in Israel, collects left over food items and redistributes to people in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed towards our total of £738.94. |
