If you are applying to Akiva please phone the school to book on one of our tours for prospective parents.
All our governors undertake visits to the school. Here are some extracts from their reports of their visits:
"I was impressed generally by what I saw in school, as I had been also when accompanying the headteacher on one of the public tours of the school in December. It is clearly an orderly community with a good relationship between staff and pupils. Classroom displays that I saw were varied and detailed and conduct in the public areas as well as in the classrooms was good."
"The visit confirmed my impressions of Akiva as a vibrant school where children are generally bright and enthusiastic to learn, where the staff are caring and committed and where the parents are actively involved".
"My observations of the school were that it was a calm happy place. The behaviour of the children was excellent. In all the classes the children were engaged and engaging, and when noise levels were getting up, quiet and concentration was restored quickly and easily. There was also calm and quiet in the corridors. The wall displays were beautiful. I particularly noticed the Year 4 Roman artwork, Year 1 poems and the materials posters inside the Year 3 room."
Please do join us to see for yourself and hear from our lovely children about their experience of the school.
